Life will evolve and adapt – did you know that there are bacteria that have evolved to digest weedkiller, and plastics? So I don’t think for a second that life will cease to exist on Earth, but humans and a lot of our favourite animals may put themselves in a very bad situation if we don’t deal with the problems of pollution very quickly.

There will be life, but mostly tougher life forms will be able to live on. But us humans need a good environment to survive, we cannot survive the ocean depth where the pressure is very very high, but there are some tough animals that can survive that condition, Some animals can survive in a cave or plants that can survive the heat in a desert. Evolution happens quite slowly, 100 years is not enough for human evolution, so we need air and sunshine to survive. Have you seen Wall-E? He has a pet cockroach. He survives and lives on as his ancestors, because cockroaches have been around a very long time, They know to tough out a variety of conditions!

As the others have said, life will find a way. I don’t think 100 years will be enough to kill off all the humans: we’re actually pretty good at surviving, at least for a bit. It’ll probably be enough to kill the tea plants, though, and I don’t know if I’d want to survive in a world without a nice cup of tea.

there is a chance but i think in recent times Humans have become more aware of pollution and the impact humans are having on the earth. There are initiatives, e.g Paris Agreement, where nations are looking at how they are harming the environment collectively looking to reduce the damage. Unfortunately there are some climate change deniers e.g. Trump. Or humans and animals could evolve to adapt to the pollution.
