This has been the golden question everyone wants to know. Solar energy can now power up a entire airport or an entire house on its own or a calculator. But the size matters. The more energy you can capture, the bigger the panels need to be so you can generate more energy. But this is quite limiting. You have to find big spaces to put those solar panels. With wind energy also facing that problem, so they put them in the sea (Offshore wind farms) but imagine the price of maintaining those gigantic parts from corrosion and high tidal winds. So there are a lot of smaller problems that we need to fix before we make them perfect. The ones we get in the market are becoming cheaper and cheaper by the day. Scientists predict we can use them for a very cheap price in the future, If you want a time or year, I do not have an answer unfortunately, but by 2035, global renewable energy use rises to a whopping 25%., the number seems low, But it was less than 1% when we started.
