Question: Is it possible to harness chloroplasts to generate energy, similar to photosynthesis? So instead of a solar panel, make a light panel?

I have seen something similar. Stanford scientists have tried to use harness that kind of energy.However the energy generated is quite small, so we would need a lot of those cells for a decent amount of electricity. So it might be slightly expensive.But you know what,It is in research phase, so we never know, we can figure out a way to do it cheaply!Solar cells were also expensive when they first started out!Now they are affordable!
