• Question: why do we have nightmares

      I don’t think anyone knows, but I know that I wish I never had to have nightmares again. They’re horrible. I think there are some people who think that it’s your brain practicing so that it knows what to do if you have to deal with something really bad, but I don’t see why that means I have to be chased by clowns on motorbikes…

      nightmares can be caused by stress and psychological triggers. for example, people who have been to war or have had a traumatic experience from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). they relive the experience in their dreams or they have flashbacks. the best way to reduce the chance of having nightmares you should de-stress before you go to sleep.
