      There might be life in other places, but I’m not certain that there is. If there is something, it’s probably something like a bacteria rather than a big complicated thing like a human, or a leopard, or an orangutan. If I met one, I’d probably try to get someone else to make friends with it because I’d be scared of getting it really wrong and accidentally starting a war. I definitely wouldn’t experiment on them, but I’d probably watch them pretty closely to try to learn as much about them as I could.

      I hope I’d be friends with them. I saw a really interesting video recently which compared aliens visiting us to the way we treat animals. If the aliens that met us were way smarter than us, would they choose to cage/eat us in the way we do to animals? Hmm….

      I think it is statistically possible. However, I’m not sure we will ever “make contact” with other forms of life and, even if we did, I wonder if we would know that we had. If we did I hope we’d try to find out about one another in a constructive way – experimenting on each other doesn’t sound good!
