• Question: have you ever tried engineering ?

      No, I don’t think I have. One of the things about engineering is that when you make decisions, those are important, so if you decide which materials to use for a bridge or how to route an electrical circuit or what ratio your chemical reagents should be in or how to connect two parts of an engine to each other, if you get that wrong then people might get hurt, because the things you make actually get used. It’s a really cool thing, but a lot of responsibility, and I’m much happier in a lab where the only person using the things I’ve made is me.
