The long way round, by becoming a science teacher first. I wanted to do that to share my understanding of science with people, but then I got asked great questions by students that I didn’t know the answers to, so I thought maybe it’d be a good idea to become a scientist so that I could find out the answers, then if people ask me questions I’m more able to answer them.

at school biology was my favorite subject and i carried on studying at college. Once i completed my A-levels i went to uni and studied biology at university followed by a PhD in molecular biology. In total i did 7 years at university. As a minimum you would need to do degree at university to be qualified scientist.
