• Question: is it possible to dye the moon different colours different days of the week ?

      I don’t think you could do the job in 24hours! However it wouldn’t be a good idea – as well as being ridiculously costly, (and alots of animals rely on the brightness moon to navigate. If you made it coloured, that would mess with the brightness and some animals can’t perceive colours like we do. Drama!

      I wish! I love the moon, but sometimes it does get a bit boring just having it always look the same.
      The big problem with dyeing the moon is that it’s not actually very bright: the surface of the moon reflects the same amount of light as the surface of a piece of coal, so the only reason it looks so bright at night is because it’s day time up there and not down here. That means that if you wanted to affect the colour with lights, they’d have to be brighter than the sun, and at the moment we just can’t make a light that bright.

      its a nice idea but i don’t think it will be possible.
