• Question: what is the scariest disease out there?

      This depends on what you mean by scariest. i work in the infectious diseases field and there are lots of viruses and bacteria that will have nasty symptoms and high death rates. For me Necrotizing fasciitis or flesh-eating disease is the scariest.

      I think the scariest disease is probably cancer, because so many people will be affected by it. Something like one in three people in the UK are expected to develop a cancer at some point in their lives.
