Because I work with just lasers and glass and mirrors, I’m pretty much just using physics on an average day. But everything that I’m using to do my job is using other kinds of science too, so the lasers were designed and built by engineers, and the exact recipe for the glass was developed by materials scientists and chemical engineers, and the mirrors are using metals made by metallurgists and so on. There’s a ton of science in the things that everyone does every day.
