• Question: what would happen if earth got too close to the sun ?

      This isn’t even much of a “what would happen” one: Venus is what would happen.

      Venus is about the same size as the earth, and as far as we can tell, we think it had a similar set of chemicals and stuff when it formed as we did, it’s just that it was quite a lot closer to the sun, and that means that now the temperature near the surface is four hundred degrees, and it rains sulfuric acid.

      we would all die. life on has come to be because millions of extremely unlikely events followed one another in the perfect conditions to create life. these unlikely events and perfect conditions were found on earth and in my opinion this is why we have contacted any life in space.
