• Question: What would you do if you had the cure to cancer?

      If I had it, and I owned it, I would give it to everyone for free. One of the weird things about doing research in medicine or drugs is that it costs a lot to do the research, so if you want to carry on doing it then you need to charge people for the things that you discover so that you have money to do the next thing. That often means that medicine is expensive.

      I’m not very good at discovering new medicines, so the money wouldn’t be very useful to me, and that’s why I would give it away for free.
