• Question: why do you fiddle with tiny mirrors ???

      Because I want my laser light to go into my fibres. The fibres are about one two hundredth of a millimetre across, so I have to point the laser really accurately, and the best way to do that is to bounce it off of some mirrors and then tip them a tiny little bit at a time.
