• Question: Why would you think people would disagree on the history / logic of science?

      There are lots of reasons to disagree with other people, but one of the most common is because it would be easier if they were wrong. So, like, if your mum thinks she told you to clean your room yesterday, and you’ll get in trouble if she told you and you didn’t do it, then you might disagree with her about whether she told you. The same thing happens quite a lot with some kinds of science, like the science of climate change, where people don’t want to drive less, so they say that the scientists must be wrong, then they can carry on driving their cars and filling the air with carbon dioxide.

      i think its because they don’t fully understand it in enough detail or have misinterpreted the information. What topic are you referring too?
