• Question: will holograms ever be a thing

      I definitely think so. The display technology that we use to look at things now is so much better than it used to be: when my mum was wee, they didn’t have HDR or 4K or High Frame Rate or IMAX or HD or OLED or flatscreens or even colour. she had to watch black and white TV. By the time my kids are talking to school students on I’m a Scientist, they’ll be using computers with screens that plug right into their heads, I reckon. Holograms will probably be somewhere in between.
